RC Alive is and Internet Service Provider (ISP) specifically for UK Catholics, or at least it will be once I launch the actual services. All of the profits from rcalive will be donated to UK Catholic charities. The operating accounts will be published so that people can see exactly how this happens and to whom the money is given.
The discussion forums under the Internet Services heading are for discussions relating to the rcalive internet services once they are launched. That's probably going to be another couple of weeks as I've run into a couple of administrative problems that I need to resolve first.

I have been doing some more work on getting rcalive (the ISP) off the ground and have decided to enter into a partnership with Google to provide the email service.
Their email facilities are fantastic and they now offer them to ISPs so rcalive will take them up on it.
This means customers will have massive mailboxes that are easy to search and can be accessed either via POP3, IMAP or webmail (the same interface Google offer their customers which is very easy to use).
I will be launching the service officially in January.

I've no idea what that means!
I just access e-mails on a computer!
POP and IMAP are the methods you would use if you are using the email software on your computer (IMAP is generally better). Webmail is what you use if you access email via a web browser (hotmail, gmail, etc are all mainly webmail services).
